June Meeting 6/23 Lunch in Pismo Beach

When: Thursday June 23^rd at 12:00 pm  

Where: “Sunset at Pismo” Restaurant on the Pismo Pier

What: Pismo Beach Pier Plaza Renovation Project

Cost: $25

The City of Pismo Beach completely renovated the old parking lot at the Pismo Pier. They added a large plaza area, new restrooms, tables, chess boards, landscaping, large concrete stairs for sitting on or accessing the beach and a playground with a slide down to the beach. Come hear about the design and construction of this great project and ENJOY!

The speaking panel will be:

Christine Kahn – Inspector, Cannon Corp

This is a very interesting project that was built during the Pandemic. We will walk the Project after lunch.  

Lunch options include:  

1) Sunset Salad: Grilled shrimp, avocado, cucumber, dried apricots overmixed greens, red cabbage, carrots, tomatoes  

2) The Fancy Chick Sandwich: Fried chicken breast, caramelized onions, bacon, avocado, gouda, lettuce and tomatoes  

3) Sunset Steak Sandwich: 6 oz filet mignon, toasted brioche, side of BBQ sauce
